FOREWORD BY THE AUTHOR

Description

I didn’t write this book because I had all the answers. I wrote it because I was drowning in questions, I mean questions that couldn’t be prayed away, fasted away, or hidden behind titles and smiles. I wrote this because pain doesn’t knock; it crashes through the door. And when it did, I danced and not because I wanted to but because I had to. Every scar you’ll read in these pages has a voice.

Every broken bone you’ll meet carries a story. Some never healed the way I expected. Some healed ugly. But they all healed. This is not a fairytale. It is not a filtered story dressed up for sympathy or applause. This is raw. This is real. This is me, bleeding in print so someone else doesn’t have to bleed in silence.

I grew up thinking survival was enough. But I’ve learned survival without healing is just delayed death. So, I fought. I questioned. I cried. And I kept walking, even when my legs trembled under the weight of grief, shame, rejection, paralysis, betrayal, and silence. I wrote this for the one who feels unseen. For the one who has smiled for too long while dying inside. For the one who thinks God has forgotten their name. He hasn’t. If you’re holding this book, you’re not just a reader, you’re a witness. You’re about to walk with me through fire, childhood trauma, loss, motherhood, leadership, paralysis, healing, ministry, and the fragile spaces in between. I didn’t write to impress you.

I wrote to undress the lie that strong people don’t break. They do. But by grace, they don’t stay broken. Let this book interrupt your numbness. Let it whisper hope into your darkness. Let it scream life into your silence. Let it be proof that even the shattered can dance. And when the music fades, and the world is quiet again, may you hear these words echo in your soul: So read slowly. Breathe deeply. And if you find yourself in these pages, know this was for you.
With every broken piece that became a bridge.
